I said no to pickleball. God laughed. Now I’m certified, addicted, and coaching with more joy than ever.

How I Got Here

I grew up playing racket sports. Squash, tennis, table tennis, and later pickleball. I’ve always loved the puzzle of it — why a shot works, why it breaks down, what small change makes it click.

Coaching came naturally.

These days I coach tennis, pickleball, and table tennis.

The Photographer’s Eye

A big part of who I am is photography. Years behind a lens have shaped how I see everything — light, timing, small movements. I’ve been teaching that craft under PA SkillsFuture since 2017.

Spend years looking through a lens and you learn to notice timing, angles, small movements. I bring that same eye to coaching. It’s often the tiny things — a grip shift, a late turn, a loss of balance — that cause the bigger problems in a stroke.

Off Court

When I’m not on court or behind a camera, I’m usually fishing. Figuring out what works — it’s the same curiosity that drives my coaching.
